To get this workshop started, we will review Japanese pantry essentials, such as Miso, Umeboshi and several varieties of sea vegetables. The Chef Instructors will discuss these ingredients in depth and you will have the opportunity to smell and taste traditional pantry essentials. You will also prepare a traditional Miso Soup and learn how to roll your own vegetarian sushi. There will be plenty of time to learn and practice Japanese knife skills during this workshop.
